Getting started
What is StudioLife, and who is it for?
A practical introduction for instructors, tutors, instructors and their customers.
One business workspace
StudioLife brings client records, leads, scheduling, session credits, memberships, invoices, attendance and reporting into one place. It is designed for businesses offering individual sessions, group classes, or both. Owners manage the business; clients and parents use a separate, linked client portal.
How the pieces fit together
Create Session Types and Class Types to define what you teach. Membership Types and Package Types define how customers purchase access. Actual calendar occurrences hold bookings and attendee lists; a Class Type is a template, not a permanent roster.
Choose your starting point
If you are evaluating StudioLife, read the setup and plan guides. If an instructor invited you, start with the client portal guide. Employees should use their teammate invitation rather than create a separate coaching business.
- Owners: set up catalogs, contacts and availability.
- Clients and parents: request sessions, review plans and manage finances.
- Teammates: use only the areas the owner authorizes.
