Understand Dashboard and Payments date windows

Know why Payments Due, Due Now and monthly revenue can show different totals.

Dashboard Payments Due

Payments Due — Last 30 Days sums unpaid invoice balances with due dates from 30 days before today through today, inclusive, using the business time zone. If no due date exists, the invoice creation date is used. Older debt is not included in this specific widget. It is not a total of all historical unpaid invoices.

Payments page

Due Now includes unpaid invoices due today or earlier with no lookback limit. Scheduled later this month includes unpaid invoices due after today and before the calendar month ends; future recurring obligations with no invoice are not included.

Revenue widgets

Payments this month, last month, last 90 days, last 6 months, last 12 months and YTD open Revenue Report with the corresponding dates. YTD begins at the start of the current year. Revenue totals concern payments/cash flows, not unpaid invoice amounts. Always inspect the displayed date boundaries before comparing two widgets.
