When to use session credits versus a Drop In Rate

Fund each booking once, using eligible entitlement first.

Credits first

An eligible paid, started and unexpired membership/package with enough available credits funds a booking first. Memberships and packages issue Session Credits or Class Credits. Individual credits can be restricted to named types. A class uses one matching Class Credit and a session uses one matching Session Credit; Drop In Rate is measured in money.

Individual Session Types keep credit cost and drop-in price separate.

If credits are unavailable

The booking flow can offer a package purchase or the applicable Drop In Rate. Owners see a warning and must explicitly approve the drop-in charge in the owner booking flow. A client may have a package that is expired, unpaid, reserved or ineligible, so possession of a package alone does not guarantee usable credits.

Never fund the same booking twice

A booking must not both deduct session credits and charge a drop-in. Before confirming, review Choose Package to Deduct Session From and any price warning. If a payment screen fails, inspect booking and invoice status before retrying; a checkout return URL alone is not proof of a successful sale.
